Yesterday was very bad for me and it looks like today won't be any better. It probably has to do with the summer holidays combined with bad economy. I think the only thing we can do is wait patiently until things improve again.

I'm in the same boat, traffic and clicks are the same yet earnings are about 40% lower. I'll give Adsense a couple weeks to level itself out before I start checking alternative ads.

It's pointless to make assumptions about today's earnings when: 1) The day isn't even half over; and... 2) AdSense reports are often subject to delays (with click statistics sometimes being delayed more than impression stats are). If you want to focus on single-day statistics, look at yesterday's numbers, not today's.

| I agree, but even one full day's data is often not solid enough to give any useful information. Adsense is just too volatile. So I'd look at 30 day moving averages (put into relationship of individual days) to spot longer-term trends. Just my two Cents.

Mine dropped 60% on Sunday. Traffic down, clicks down, CTR down. Check your rankings - mine corresponded with a drop in my SERPS from #1 to #2 for a key traffic term.

Orders for almost all of my ecommerce clients are down this week as well - people are outside, they're on vacation, they're broke - whatever. I'm not even seeing anywhere near as many clicks on the AdWords side. 1st week of August is usually pretty dumpy from where I sit.

Today is disastrous for me. A decrease of 80% compared to normal revenue. Seems like adsense is lagging, because I can't believe that my CTR fell by 14% in one day with the same ads.

Pretty dumpy is right! But as we all have experienced if we've been with Adsense for any amount of time is that there are normal seasonal dips. Could be back to school time for the kids in the US, end of summer stuff, etc. Doesn't stop the unpleasantness of lost revenue though huh?

Stats do seem to be lagging; my server logs show over twice as many visits as AdSense is showing impressions.

Have you guys had a click dump yet? This is the first time I've logged-on today and my numbers look very normal, in fact back to pre July 18th stable metrics. I wonder if there's something new being rolled out again? Ok, there'a nearly always something new...I wonder what it is?

Yesterday was my best day in a month. Up 21% over the last month's average. I hope that trend continues.
