Adsense Stats Downtime

I'm seeing the adsense downtime-screen here. Maybe this is related to the general eCPM/CTR downturn many people have been seeing recently?

No... it's related to Google's weekly/bi-weekly Adsense maintenance.

Sometimes they announce Saturday maintainence on the Adsense application, but many times they do not.

I doubt it's scheduled maintenance as that doesn't typically last this late in the day. Probably some other technical problem but not related to eCPM/CTR.

Seems they're running late. The maintenance was supposed to be finished 40 minutes ago. See [adwords.blogspot.com...]

Is everyones stats still stuck from this morning? It is now 5:14PM Google Time (Pacific Time).

I got quite a fright when I logged in just now and found I had a third of what it should show. That is why I came here and found many others who have written about it.

My impressions have started to update but they're still way behind. I'm not going to fret over it until some time tomorrow.

Either I am having a very poor day or stats are behind by at least 6 hours.

Same here. Very low stats and earnings compared to average. It seems Google can use these 'Downtimes' to steal a chunk of our earnings. It has been happening more often lately.

Historically, during maintenance, stats lagged but are straightened up after sometime.

Today's lag was pretty dramatic, but it seems to have updated.

Eeew. Stats are w-a-a-a-a-ay off.

MB, I thought you were endowed with super human power that gave you immunity to these trivial stat lags?

If you can say that, think how us small fry feel...

>>>that gave you immunity to these trivial stat lags?

No immunity. I cross reference my log files before posting about slow updates. A year or so ago someone who posted slow update threads every weekend apologized because he hadn't been checking his server log files, and upon inspecting them saw it wasn't google, it was simply a slow weekend. This was a bit annoying because in many of his threads I asked him if he had checked his server logs and he never responded.

Generally, the updation reports lack a validation with server files. It appears as if these adsensers are ONLY looking at their adsense stats. Makes for a poor report. So if you're going to post about slow stats updates, you'll have more credibility if you are looking at more than your AdSense control panel.

The update reports would be more useful if they were backed up with a statement that the poster actually cross-checked their server logs.

Ok, well, for the record, I watch my server logs like a hawk (I have to, I own the hosting company) so by default I've always checked my logs before I post about stats.

Just puttin' it out there... (ork ork)

Guess what?

Maintenance day and easily my worst earning's day of the month!

This is becoming a very regular occurrence.
