New AdSense Arrows shift ads up and down
New test on our site or an old feature I've missed?

Is anyone else seeing this?

It's two arrows by the Ads By Google symbol. Press them, the ads "go up", and refresh with NEW ads.

I noticed our CPM dropped a few days ago - but its back the past 3 - I have to wonder if they were testing this, and maybe people were using it and selecting lower paying ads?

I don't really surf my own site that much!

I had it on mine, and the arrows did allow you to rotate the ad selection.

Kind of interesting, but I don't know if it would work with a lot of sites. The ads were all relevant, but I just don't see people scrolling through ads.

But you know, Google knows what they are doing, so I'll wait and see.

This was on a 250x250 btw.

They appear to be testing this and I have a feeling they will find it's rarely used.

I first saw these about a month ago and see them sporadically at the moment. I agree with annej that it's not likely to be used much.

I've had them on my sites for a while now however I've not seen them for a few days and personally I feel they look good, work well and are more aesthetically pleasing than AdLinks and they seem to be very fast.

I only use one Leaderboard and one AdLinks unit.
