Have not seen one yet for either our Adsense or Adwords account. The last couple of years though it has arrived very close to Christmas

After a 50% cut in earnings per click over the same period last year, a lump of coal would be nice.

They should trash the -950 penalty for christmas :)

That's why I'm Adsense user, Adwords user AND shareholder, well some kind of... I probably own one door nob ;-)

Last year I received a nice card, but no gift. Maybe this year they will be more generous?

I still think I'll be lucky to even receive a card this year.

I'm still waiting for that pony in my front yard with Goooogle written on it's rump!

I know what Google is going to give us - a roller-coaster ride with unexpected ups and downs that get us whooping and crying in turn. And hey - the ticket is for a whole year. (Unless you get THAT email, turfing you out in mid-ride).
Bring on 2008. Ho ho uh-oh

My Google gift turned up today. Credit-card sized 2Gig usb disk. Quite imaginative, in true Google form. Might actually be useful, although now I have more usb disks than I could possibly make use of.
The only thing that possibly annoys me is the complete 'PC-ness' of the Christmas card - same as last few years. Say 'Merry Christmas' for goodness sake :-)

"Hey, Google loves you all my little kids. That's why it hurts me to say, Santa won't be comin by this year. I'm really sorry kids but... I spent all our money on alcohol and you wont be gettin any presents. BURRRRRRP! Well, at least I got a buzz!"
Google drank all our xmas money...

Received my gift today, the memory card and a donation gift code for donorschoose.org for Google to make a donation to a public school of my choice. I assume I'll find out the value donated when I pick a school. Too bad I went to private schools and so do my nieces, so I may end up picking a school at random.

Can someone tell me how the gifts are being delivered this year?
Google sent me a picture frame last year, but Fed-Ex failed to deliver it.
10:08 am on Dec 8, 2007 (gmt 0)
The little box says FedEx ground but the guy who delivered it was driving in a Budget truck O_o.
7:52 pm on Dec 8, 2007 (gmt 0)
lol, this topic looks like a wishlist, like a "dear santa" letter :)
You know that Google guys are around this forum this is why you are doing this :))

Google operates in many countries. Not all of them celebrate Christmas. Believe it or not, there are even Brits and Yanks who aren't Christmas-centric.

Got mine here in Scotland, not sure I will use it. Maybe give it to my brother in law for Christmas! :-)

That doesn't sound promising.
That is coming from a wee Scot.
And yes I'm 25% wee Scot.

Did anyone in the US get one yet? Did anyone receive a card yet? Neither yet for us. We averaged above the UPS Club for the year, but the last @#$% few months we were under, so maybe G-Claus no longer like us.
If you don't have a particular school project you want to donate the donorschoose to, sticky me and I'll be happy to suggest one that a good friend of mine (a local gradeschool teacher) has listed for the kiddies.

Got a card here in the US. No gift. =(
1:15 am on Dec 13, 2007 (gmt 0)
Nothing here, east coast.
1:17 am on Dec 13, 2007 (gmt 0)
No card. No gift. No nothing. :(
1:25 am on Dec 13, 2007 (gmt 0)
Hmm, so there IS a Chance! :)
Looks like the trend so far (with only 3 samples) is no news is good news. Gifts take longer to receive than cards apparently.
Oops, there's already one listed on ebay today from Omaha, Nebraska!

Got 2 googlegifts here on the east coast today. One for adsense, one for adwords I suppose. This is my first year for a googlegift and my very best year ever with google (spending and earning). Both boxes contained a 2gig drive cards with DonorsChoose gift cards included.
I actually am very excited about the donor cards, I think it's a great idea and better than another mug. At least I know it will go to someone who can use it :)
3:52 am on Dec 13, 2007 (gmt 0)
I see that one. The guy is selling it for an additional donation to a specific charity. That's pretty interesting.
I just found another.....
.....in Mountain View, CA!
