Wait a minute. Go check other sites like yours, and try to find what kind of ads are being served. Do they look like a good match for your proposed aquisition? $50 is awfully cheap. What's wrong with the deal?

Yep the ads are a pretty good match. I'm actually the webmaster of the site, I just don't own it so I can't put my own ads up. I'm thinking the owner is just giving it to me for cheap because I already run the site and she's never sold a site before so maybe she doesn't really know what it's worth?

In my opinion, with about 500 pageviews a day for a fansite you should be able to bring at least USD 500 a year with adsense, if the site and ads are correctly optimized.

I had once a site about a film project. I stoped the page, nearly no income. Only 8% of the eCPM what is average on my sites.

hits matter but not all the time. you're the webmaster of the site so you must know the estimated cpc of the ads you're getting on that fansite. say you get 500 hits a day and a fair amount of clicks, everything will depend upon the price of ads you're getting. i suggest you buy the site anyways coz 50 bucks is never a big money and you can improve the site a lot to earn more from it later.
