I happened to notice that my stats seem to have been stuck for the last several hours. Don't worry, it will correct itself sooner or later. FarmBoy

Stats updated, but now URL channels show 30% higher earnings and number of clicks than sum of individual channels. I did a quick investigation and noticed that few ghost clicks appeared in stats for last several days. Anyone noticed this?

Yes! Total clicks & earnings normal But reported impressions and clicks inside each channel is way behind, they don't add up with the grand total. I was going through my logs trying to find where the click attack was coming from.

Same here. Stats on URL channels is out of whack. Was getting ready to launch an investigation, but for now I'll wait and see if it catches up.

Can someone give a kick to the AdSense server, everything seems to be lagging.

AdSense comes into ages, a bit more respectful patience, please... ;-) (But I have to agree: Channel data are way out of sync, only the Grand Total seems to be correct.)

Maybe the stats are stuck due to the fires in California?

Glad I'm not the only one. All channels for one site are showing about one tenth of what should normally be there. I thought there had been an outage on the site -- but no such thing...

It's my fault folks. I've been generating so many clicks the past 2 days it appears I have crashed the system. I'll take my sites down for a while and see if it will return things to normal. FarmBoy

define 'normal' If anything, it's great that HP is seeing good results, if this happens on a Friday I can die happy.

CTR & eCPM at monthly average which is a darned sight better than last week, yeah, I know, it's all going to go wrong overnight however I'm already 60% of the way to my daily earning's target:-) Can afford a couple of beers now!

Problem appears to be specific to NON-URL channels showing only about 10% of normal impressions and clicks. Aggregate stats looks fine. URL channels look fine. [edited by: Chrispcritters at 9:32 pm (utc) on Oct. 23, 2007]

I have some channels that just aren't reporting at all, and their value is not included in my aggregate numbers either. At least their usual/normal numbers aren't showing up in the totals, unless everything has gone to pot today :) .

| AdsenseAdvisor: Could you kindly ask your engineers to check if the channels/data problem could have affected smartpricing on some or any accounts? I noticed a channels problem late last week and immediately after that got smartpriced. After CTR exploded unlike anything I'd ever seen, it looked as if it triggered a smartpricing algo to lower the EPC. It's difficult to imagine channel data/CTR stats are completely unrelated to the smartpricing algo, and the timing of the glitch around the time of the income drop raises questions about smartpricing. p/g

I agree with potentialgeek. But are there other problems? Compared with my aggregate stats my channel stats for this month start showing fewer clicks from the 13th. But from the 20th the drop is much greater. Also from the 20th both Aggregate and Channel stats start showing far fewer clicks than I would expect. The CTR is over 50% down.

I'm also seeing fewer clicks and lower CTR than long-term stats would lead me to expect. Hopefully, one sunny day, we actually get those missing clicks, or they are just gone with/because the usual "nothing works after adsense maintenance" - thingy.
