Nice. How are you getting that quantity of traffic so soon after launch? Cross link from another site? or Paid traffic?

The site is related to video games. I posted it on an official message board and I'm getting huge traffic and the people who've responded to the site so far love it! Someone even posted it on digg.com. I'm sure that the earnings will go down over the next week, as now I can expect a ton of people are just checking the site out. Over time, I will get the repeat visitors.

Wow can you tell me that much impressions how do you get. I am getting daily 200 - 300 impressions only.

12,500 impressions within the past 12 hours. The only advertising for my site at all was making a post on two different message boards. I'm hoping that I see another big increase later tonight when more internet users are home from work and online.

We call this the "Honeymoon" for a new site with viral traffic.
Good luck, but it will inevitably settle in without target advertising, and a consistent campaign.
Try search marketing- it works remarkably well for me more often than not.

Amazingly, the site traffic has went up! All I did was post the links on a few message boards on the first day of the site's launch, and I haven't touched it since. I'm getting 45000 page impressions daily and I'm ranking first and second in Google search for my two keywords. I'm going to save up my earnings from this new site so I can pay someone to develop a bigger site I've had planned. I just don't have time to do the amount of PHP/MySQL work that this site will require.
