Adsense page views are way out

Even compared to Analytics which is still not right. Adsense page views are 40% lower than what they should be, as are my earnings.

Ecpm seems ok and CTR is also ok.

Are we being ripped off here or what. I would assume the advertisers are paying for the clicks but we're not being paid by google.

It's not even worth emailing them as they'll give me some crap.

Not sure what I can do.

How many of you are experiencing similar issues over the past few days?

What are you comparing the AdSense page view number against to know that its lower than what it should be?

I have noticed some weird showings the last few days as well...off and on...something fishy seems like. Just a suspicion on my end though. You're right, about 40% off and on, then back. Weird.

lots of people use ad-blockers these days. so they could be viewing the page with javascript turned on (which will log it in anaytics), but never get to see the ad.

We get Page Impressions, not Page Views, basically it is how many times AdSense change the ads not how many pages have been seen.

If there is a dearth of advertisers then the PI's will not increase they'll just keep showing the same ads, however one thing is for sure, something is completely wrong with all these outages, log-in problems etc.

I sure wish they'd sort it out quickly since the Xmas AdSensers will be screaming like heck soon if they don't.

Even compared to Analytics

Apologies if Analytics show Page Views, I don't use it, I assumed you were referring to the normal AdSense stats.
