Very nice! It's easy for some of us to get all wrapped up in the business side of it that we forget about the fun side.

Congrats! I also remember what a great feeling it was to see my hobby paying for itself with the help of adsense.
Before you know it you'll be earning $10, $20, $50 a day and more, the sky's the limit!
2:10 am on Apr 25, 2007 (gmt 0)
Yep, that is what I am hoping. My next goal would be $10. I just have to work on content! Content is king!
8:05 am on Apr 25, 2007 (gmt 0)
I earned $0.28 last month... and this month still no clicks yet.
How did you generate traffic?
8:35 am on Apr 25, 2007 (gmt 0)
Congrats! I reached the $1 a day milestone about a year back now, and have since had a couple of $23 days (before screwing up my site!). I'm now back down to about $5 a day.

Congratulations on your first dollar day. The realisation that money can be made on Google really kicked in for me when I made my first $ day.
makes a little sense

You're ahead of the game, my friend. Just by paying for your hosting, you're not the average Joe. You're getting better at it, and you could make enough to start paying down other bills.

Congrats dear ...

Reading this topic is enough to make me want to play on the freeway.
The figures mentioned are consistent with my efforts back in 1998. Amazon and a cuppla other programs.
Oh well, you all "might" be a success in 2017 but it's becoming a very crowded field over the last ten years. Still growing exponentially.
I count the the lower figures here on a "per minute" basis and that's a far cry from a year or more ago.
Don't give up, build sites with genuine and valuable content and you'll succeed [eventually].
Remember - sites alone are NOTHING Quality content is King.

$1 per day - how good that is depends on the amount of traffic that is generating it.

I have been doing adsense for about 3 months now and have over 100 sites up but still very little revenue, how do you get up to even a $1 a day - that would be nice!

You would better concentrate on one site, and it will eventually generate $1 and even more.

I have an online seed catalog with about 30 unique hits a day (roughly 1000 hits per month). I have been running Adsense for the past 3 months. The best I have done is only $13/month. So that's about 43 cents a day. I'd love to be making $1 a day, and can only dream of $5-$10/day. I guess I need to do more work generating traffic. I'm on page 4 of Google when someone searches "seed catalog" How do I get moved up to page 1? I'm sure that more traffic is the key. The only problem is the Google Ads are drawing paying customers away from my site.

Let'em laugh. I'm reminded of the story of the Dan Blocker (Hoss Cartwright) interview, in which the TV-pretty interviewer asks some tactless question about how he felt about being such a homely man in a profession of beauties, and Dan says something to the effect "Well, I reckon there's a lot more folks that look like me than there is that look like you."

Well done.. My next aim is $10 a day. Done it a few times. but nothing consistent

Perhaps some pages with good pieces of advice about seed related issues (ie: good content) would attract more users and prospective buyers (or Adsense real-clickers)?

We all started at these numbers at one time. (well, not all of us, I know I did)

what are basic things that can boost our adsense?
content?, navigation?, images? ... or anything else?

Yes, take a week to do nothing else but read everything you can in here and the Google Search forum.

It is a great feeling, be proud about that and remember that the journey has hust started. You will make tens of thousands dollers just stay focused.
My first sale on the internet was for $19, I was so excited then and I called all my friends and shared my excitement, so I understand your feeling, the good part of it is that, I was aware of the fact that it was just a begining, now I make tens of thousands dollers on the internet.
Note: My venture on internet was with products not adsense. Still adsense has got similar potential. All the best.

Nice to see someone excited about something at this forum, instead complaining about their SERP problems. hahahah
I, too, am on the search for that $1 a day. The thing that holds me back is just 'time' in general. The more time you put in, the better you'll get at it.

Hey, well done on your first $1 day and hopefully many more will follow. I was lucky as my first day was over the $1 mark, but I had a well established site and hundreds of visitors a day anyway.
This is how I make my living now, so hang in there, publish good original content, respect your visitors, play by the rules and all else will follow :-)

Congrats, I have received some checks from Google, and I am happy to hear that from you. You may double the figure soon, just SEO and optimize your ads.
