Hello,

I am very interested in learning if all else is equal, do publisher's find that by using a channel in their ads affect their earnings?

Have your earnings significantly increased or decreased through the use of channels, and if so, if you remove the channels, do they go back to prior levels?

Thanks.

There was a glitch not long ago that if you removed all custom channels it negated smart pricing. When wind of it hit the boards it was fixed in no time.

So yeah, use channels to aid you in tracking whats working and whats not. The knowledge you gain from the feedback can very well effect your earnings, in a positive way.

I would still like to know exactly how it does effect earnings.

Recently I split an old site where I did not have channels but high CTR and low earnings into channels. CTR is down and so are earnings.

Unfortunately all else is never equal and I have no clue how to attribute all the factors - or even know what they are.
