Working fine here in Hong Kong but clicks are slightly lower than average. It should catch up at the end of the day.
4:49 am on Jan 10, 2007 (gmt 0)
clicks may be catching up a little bit. Were down 25%, now only down about 10%
6:35 am on Jan 10, 2007 (gmt 0)
Andrew, I am always ready for a big fat click dump!
Hey did you guys see where Khensu went? I haven't seen him in a while?

Okay... okay... thin click dump will do as well.
Heard from Khensu just the other day. He was sketchy about details but I think he's working on a humongous collaborative project with a certain search enGine!

Hmm now it's working, but it's a bad "pay day".... ~ 25% lower :(

It's still on and off for me here in the UK, I'm afraid.

4 PM Hong Kong time is the end of adsense day for me. As expected, stats caught up, it's a bit lower than yesterday but in the average range.
9:06 am on Jan 10, 2007 (gmt 0)
Unable to login in India now, anyone else facing this problem?
10:22 am on Jan 10, 2007 (gmt 0)
A new day has started and the eCPM is a joke.. bad joke..
Come on Google Adsense Team, the aedificium is shaking all over the world?
12:34 pm on Jan 10, 2007 (gmt 0)
All seems absolutely normal here - France/UK. Andrew, does Khensu not post here anymore, not seen him around for ages, miss his zany wit!
3:27 pm on Jan 10, 2007 (gmt 0)
CTR way down again today. About 40% below normal. This just started yesterday when they started having problems. Hoping for a click dump as well.
3:51 pm on Jan 10, 2007 (gmt 0)
Some people are complaining on the adwords forum that there traffic has suddenly stopped sometime late yesterday.
For one of my clients adword accounts they should have received a couple of thousand clicks from the content network by this time of the day. They have received none so far but are still receiving clicks on google search etc..
It seems that the content network has been turned off even though it is still selected.
This might be a possible reason why people are seeing lower clicks/revenue for adsense. If google has somehow managed to mistakenly turned off adword advertisers content network ads.......
I only noticed it by complete fluke and I suspect more and more advetisers will start to notice it as the day goes on.

Page Impressions for yesterday reported were about normal. Clicks, Page CTR, Page eCPM and Earnings all were down 30-50%
4:38 pm on Jan 10, 2007 (gmt 0)
Yep looks like the whole content network got switched off about 3am.
"What was that?"
"My B-tt hit something and heard this click"
"I told you we shouldn't be doing this up on the desk"
"Well, everything looks ok"
4:42 pm on Jan 10, 2007 (gmt 0)
When there are hitches like this there is usually a new announcement from Google imminent, a change of TOS, or a PR update [webmasterworld.com].
5:52 pm on Jan 10, 2007 (gmt 0)
Something is definitely messed up - I haven't seen such low numbers in a long time.
6:27 pm on Jan 10, 2007 (gmt 0)
Allow me to make some perhaps naive assumptions, (recognizing the danger of making assumptions about anything having to do with the internet).
In all probablility only a very few are experiencing diminution in CTRs, etc. I am, but I'm usually in any negatively affected minority. If this was widespread, then this thread would be several pages long.
Even if it is widespread, Google somehow will benefit from it at the expense of publishers.
If changes are in the works, it will not benefit publishers.
I'm not in the best of moods about Adsense right now, as you might gather.
6:46 pm on Jan 10, 2007 (gmt 0)
Ok getting numbers now on content, things starting to recover.
Gotta go change my underpants!
7:10 pm on Jan 10, 2007 (gmt 0)
I can log into my Adsense account, but for whatever reason none of my Google Ads are showing up on my site, this I can't get any clicks. What's up with that?
7:40 pm on Jan 10, 2007 (gmt 0)
Yep. Its down again.
8:06 pm on Jan 10, 2007 (gmt 0)
The thing that ticks me off is that I was actually starting to make some money off of the ads and then is goes down for the past two days.
8:49 pm on Jan 10, 2007 (gmt 0)
I don't know if I actually have a right to complain. I've gone from an approx. 25% CTR down to 8%. I know, I know, 8% is considered perfectly acceptable. My actual traffic patterns haven't changed a bit, though. Adsense is completely enigmatic. Sort of like the weather.
