It is obvious why encouraging visitors to click on AdSense ads is a TOS violation. But how about AdSense referral buttons?

Is it Okay to encourage visitors to get fireFox with google toolbar via my page link/button?

Have a look through the AdSense help center. It took me less that a minute to find an answer to your question. Just search for 'AdSense referral buttons'.

Hi arikgub,

I don't know if this is the page you already found, but you might want to check out the referrals tips at:

http://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=43870 [google.com]

"Unlike with AdSense for content ads, we encourage you to endorse referral products by calling attention to the button or text link. If you believe in the quality of the product that you're referring, feel free to let your users know! Of course, in line with our policies, you may not click your own ads nor encourage conversions for deceitful reasons."

Hope that helps!
