This month November has been great but I am nowhere near US#1,000. US$10,000? How many sites are you running and what kind of site? Did you create all the content or is it created by users?
Anyway, a very big congratulation to you! I hope I will be sitting on your chair one day.

Congrads spacey! Lots of hard work pays eh. Thanks for sharing and best of luck in the new year!
3:36 am on Nov 30, 2006 (gmt 0)
Congrats! I'm almost there in about 7k range right now, but i was wondering if your account has smart pricing? I was almost hitting 10k a month then got hit with smart pricing and that dropped me to like $4k-$5k a month but after 5 strong hard working months its going up again. I could only dream about how much i could be making if i wasnt hit with smart pricing.
Enjoy the ride because once you get hit it sucks, it seems like you have to work harder to earn the money back.

Yes, totaled that is what it equals.
How many sites are you running
Nine(9) that I concentrate on. Numerous others.
How to replace a catalytic converter if my sites were related to automobiles. That's just an example, the sites are how-to for the most part, I'd rather not divulge the exact subject matter. Besides, it varies so much that the info wouldn't help much anyway.

Thanks for the congrats and sorry about the edits!

Congrats. My goal is to get into the UPS club as well. I'm a bit over 1/2 way there now and working hard to continue setting records. I set an AdSense record last month and beat it this month. So I'm looking to continue that trend.

Thanks for the info.
For my kind of web sites, I need to have 10 million page impressions per month to make that kind of income. What is your monthly page view?
Sorry for asking too much. Just curious.

Congrats Spaceylacie - $10,000 is definitely the magic number to aim for, and you've got it now!
7:02 am on Nov 30, 2006 (gmt 0)
spaceylacie, well done!
I cleared my 4 figure aim and now my next aim is 10k. I guess it will take another year or two before I touch 10k.
7:14 am on Nov 30, 2006 (gmt 0)
Yea congrats - I have been in four figure territory for some time now and hope one day to join the 1% of Adsense publishers!
8:22 am on Nov 30, 2006 (gmt 0)
Congrats. Is that $10k / month? Thought I was going to make that mark this month too, based on the start of month figures, but I've missed it! D'oh. There's always next month :D Keep up the good work.

I dream of 10K too.

way to go spaceylacie!
2:55 pm on Nov 30, 2006 (gmt 0)
Nice one :)
I'm not quite half way there yet.
3:09 pm on Nov 30, 2006 (gmt 0)
Thanks! I'm still about $100 away so I will be barely making it to the 10k for November. Mista, I'm not sure on the total page views for all sites, over a million and under 10 million!
9:42 pm on Nov 30, 2006 (gmt 0)
Grats.. this non-smartpriced or smartpriced earnings?
10:00 pm on Nov 30, 2006 (gmt 0)
Yay! I hope you get that $100! Then again, if you don't at least next month you'll have an easier goal than $1,000 a day ;)
Now the really important question: Did you get a GoogleGift last year, or this year, or both?

I wish I was in your place right now.
November > $70 - lol. The worst adsense month for me ever!
Can I ask what kind of alexa rankings your sites have? Not exactly of course, but just to know how far down the road you actually have to go, before you get to be a part of the UPS club.
10:30 pm on Nov 30, 2006 (gmt 0)
LOL, Ron. I got the laptop accessories last year, the deluxe version and a mood radio the year before that, but this year's gift has not arrived yet. I'm sure G hasn't forgotten about me this year. Maybe, realizing what a patient person I am, they have decided to send mine a little closer to Xmas.
GP, my ecpm is higher now than before G introduced smart pricing so I am assuming that it favorably affected my sites.
Less than $20 away the last I checked(about 3 seconds ago). I'll wait as least 30 seconds before checking again.
IWMI, I don't keep up with Alexa rating but checked one site and it said 90,000 something.

@ spaceylacie : how long have you been succesfuly earning this great for? (it can take a few months for smartpricing to click)
And nice alexa, I have alot better rank, but not that far off :) (I was on over 10,000$ month before smartpricing came)
10:43 pm on Nov 30, 2006 (gmt 0)
Hopefully $20k won't be far behind ;)

If yours is a how-to site, I'd have a tendency to believe you would fall on the positive end of smartpricing. For instance, if the "to-do" article is going to require a certain set of tools ... like soldering irons and such ... and the people reading your page enough to see the ads and want to click them -- they are probably very likely to undertake the project, and thus may need to purchase the tools. Thus, your conversion rate is probably a bit higher than average, assuming AdSense is giving you good context-based targeting. Thus, smartpricing helps you ... because you drive quality traffic to advertisers, that convert often.
Congrats on the $10k milestone! I'm pretty darn close myself this month ... only about $9,800 left to go. We've got a few hours left in the day, though, so I'm hoping I can make it :-)
10:59 pm on Nov 30, 2006 (gmt 0)
rofl @ toomer ... I'll only be earning 1500$ at least this month... because I'm smartpriced (but im doing somthing about that read my topic)

Well, the 3 year wait is over for me. I am now a member of the illusive UPS club!
GP, this is my third year making a living at this. Income has steadily increased, with some seasonal variations, since the beginning. The worst thing that happened over that time was nearly dropping out of the serps for my top keyword for about 2 weeks. Then it just re-appeared one day and everything was fine after that. That was a terrible month for me earning-wise, but nothing to do with smart pricing, my traffic just went way down.
toomer, I have other types of sites besides how-to but it wasn't until I started that series of sites that I really started earning well. I also believe it does draw good quality traffic for advertisers. If G gets the ads right, visitors are pre-qualified with credit card in hand. They get it right enough to keep me happy with my earnings.
11:41 pm on Nov 30, 2006 (gmt 0)
too bad about dropping out that time mate..
I've never even been in the serps when i was earning potentialy 10,000-20,000$ month... and lately im in the serps for 5000-8000 key words a month right now.
My traffic 80-90% time is direct. and about 1,500-2000 vistors day from google search now.
11:57 pm on Nov 30, 2006 (gmt 0)
way to go spaceylacie!
I wish I knew 'how to' do more things. I already wrote about everything I know :(
Do you think a site about 'how to annoy people' would work? That's the last thing I know.
12:38 am on Dec 1, 2006 (gmt 0)
This close to the end of the month and this close to 10K, I'm positive I'll reach it tomorrow. I only need a couple hundred more and should easily get it within the next day and a quarter.
It's a good job you've done it today since there are only 30 days in November:-)
