Personally, I think that - at least in the past - it's been based on one particular month's check payment. Get a check, get a gift. I say that because in the Year of the Radio I had a check go missing earlier and had it reissued. About the same time both checks showed up (the current month's and the reissue), so did two radios.

Maybe I missed it, but has anyone else gotten a GoogleGift™ this year besides the OP?

The answer is yes, just not posted ;)
OK then, it's time for me to give my first GoogleGift Whine™ for 2006:
Please oh please SantaGoogle!
After receiving "8 tips to Optimize AdSense" in 2004 as my Holiday Gift from Google, I assumed that I had a PR1 (PresentRank of 1). Last year, I was hoping to get to PR2, but... nothing. Apparently penalized back to PR0.
I wanna GoogleGift!
Please SantaGoogle, send me a present!
I have been good all year. I have washed behind my ASPs every night and brushed my PHPs three times a day. I've kept my sitemaps free of SPAM, I've never clicked myself and I've even added a few naughty players to your "bad" list.
SG, if you send to me the Google Picture Frame I will display it proudly, keep it clean and dust-free and promise to put on only nice pictures, like AdSense checks or my recently groomed dog, who will of course be wearing a White Hat.
Dear Santa @ Google AS,
I never received any gift :( Please send me something this year!
This all seems a bit one-sided. Maybe if we all send little gifts to the Adsense guys they'll feel appreciated and send something back.
Maybe not though.
Um, those I know are Adsense girls and they are so hot they are beyond your reach.
Even Heffner wishes he could get the Girls of AdSense, but no dice.
So is there a "Girls of AdSense" calendar with vinyl Google ads covering their clickable areas?
I am waiting since
I received several twigs and assortment of colored pebbles and considerable dust... There was no card though, my neighbor might have left these gifts.
Definitely one of their better gifts the last few years.

[edit reason] See TOS [webmasterworld.com] [/edit]
960 x 240 TFT screen
wow that sounds pretty high for 3.6 inch screen are you sure abt it?
|so hot they are beyond your reach |
That will make me even more sad when I don't get a gift back from them or a personal invitation to visit the googleplex.
Time to get serious about AdSense. I hereby vow that within a year I will hit the $200 / day mark. And I don't mean on a good day, I mean on average.
I don't care about the money, but I will not let another year go by without a Google gift!
I'm sure it's a standard 320x240 screen, they're just giving you the "elemental" pixel count (each pixel is made up of red, green & blue elements) for some bizarre reason.
No Gift and never received any yet but may be this time.
YOU lucky bill, it’s your bot question at pubcon which brought you the early gift! LOL ;-)
Just got my gift, third year in a row and this is by far the best!
Google Gift Trivia:
Who Made This Statement Last Year?
|I got a freak'n Google 2006 New Years card. |
Personally, I'd rather have that dollar the card cost in my AdSense account and you can stick that card places I can only blog about
The OP should provide the winner with a prize.
I tried to add a photo to an earlier post, however, the link to the photo was moderated out(even though the blog page that had the photo also had a link back to this thread).
Anyway, sorry about breaking the TOS.
You can find a photo by doing a search on Digg for "Google Holiday Gift".
I hope this helps.

That sounded high to me too, I just typed in the spec sheet.
I got mine yesterday, haven't hooked it up yet, but it looks shiny :)
Oh my, my digital photo frame just arrived via FedEx. Those twigs and pebbles must have been a gift from my neighbor, I'll have to leave some walnuts and pecans on his doorstep.
did any publishers that have their account less than 1 year get it? if your November earnings are, lets say above 4,000 what you think, will you get one?
Got mine today and I'm not in the UPS club.
Neat gadget but it seems very, very fussy about which JPEG files it will display and which it won't. Seems OK on files straight out of a digital camera, but almost any edit seems to result in "FILE ERROR" when uploaded. Anyone else seeing this?
It also seems picky anout MP3 files. One that plays perfectly everywhere else just fast forwards on this gizmo.

question regarding those who received Google Gift:
are u using google refferals?
nothing for me :( last year i got the usb kit as a gift, but as the admin of my work's adwords account.
I spent over $235,000 this year on "G" and got a digital frame, too!
Got mine...for some reason the "battery" indicator light continues to show up despite using the power-adapter. Any ideas? Checked all settings...
Before anyone goes "I didn't get mine!" remember that this is a LOT of parcels to ship out and it could take until the end of the year for them to ship. The first year I got one - and there were a heck of a lot fewer AdSensers back then - I didn't get mine until the new year.
Can't they just give us some Google stock instead? That would be some gift.
