I have for years without problems. IANAL, but my understanding is that competitive ads ARE allowed as long as they are not contextual.

Yes, you can run CJ ads with Google Adsense. However: CJ has a number of advertisers who use contextual-looking ads as banners. These are questionable and in my opinion, shouldn't be used. Per the Adsense Programs and Policies: "This would also include ads throughout the site that mimic Google ads or otherwise appear to be associated with Google on your site. Although you may sell ads directly on your site, it is your responsibility to ensure these ads do not mimic Google ads."

| I'm hearing both sides no and yes |
| What did Google say about it? In my view, they're the only "side" to ask. My experience is they respond pretty quickly to emails. TJ
