This morning one of my channels shows 3 clicks resulting in $25.
The first time in 2 months my Adsense stats made me laugh...

It the "0 impressions 1 click $12.31" stats that really crack me up - sadly they don't seem to last for very long.

When I first started using adwords, around 3-4 years ago, I checked my stats mid day, and it showed the usual 40+ clicks, total cost to me was over $23,000,000.00.

I wrote to them explaining I thought this was a little expensive!, they appologied and said there was a problem.

I have always wondered if they were inadvertently showing the total cost for all adwords!

I wonder if there was someone who had the opposite view and was expecting to receive their percentage of the 23,000,000.00

gee would they have been disappointed!

Whats so FUNNY?

Gian, I am being sort of cynical. There aint much to laugh for me for the past few months since my Adsense earnings have dropped to 1/3 of what they were.

perhaps things have turned the corner for you - fingers crossed.

Trannack, thank you for keeping up the spirit.
But alas, I fear I haven't seen the bottom yet...

I think my personal favourite was when I logged in to Google just after midnight Google Mean Time to see an eCPM of way over $1000! I'd had one impression and one click that was a good payer. I seem to remember things went downhill from then, and the day ended up as completely average. :(

It is reassuring to know that everyone experiences these anomalies. I don't check my stats at all anymore during the first eight hours of the Google-day, I find them scary not funny...

As a self proclaimed adsense addict, I've noticed a few odd occurances since my dismal start in the adsense program!

Many times they are slow to count the impressions and quicker to count the money (and rightly so!) - ending up in multiple thousands of dollars eCPM!

Nice to look at and day dream about for a second or two ;)
