| Wrong language in ads

My adsense was doing pretty well until a few days ago. Then, ads in other language than language of the site started to appear! The text "Ads by Google" remains in proper language, the same one as specified with meta tag on each page, but ads itself are in other language, not necessarily known for my visitors! And it resulted in a drastical drop in my CTR and earnings! Has anyone occured such problems?

I had russian ads once on my german pages. There often are english ones. I'd prefer pure german ads, but I can live with the english ones as the content is tech stuff.

I recently had a severe targeting problem on one of my main sites. This was mainly due to a server failure at my hosting company that took almost 18 hours to correct. I waited three days for the ads to revert back to the relevant ones and then wrote AdSense. While nothing happened rapidly they did take the time to address the problem and it is now all corrected. One page in particular didn't seem to get corrected so I wrote back and within 24 hours the targeting was corrected with a nice e-mail from the service rep. I have high praise for them in dealing with this individual problem.
