They've been tacking my site name onto my title tag for a while now - more than a year. Meh.

Even Googlebot appears to be on summer vacation.

Not from where I stand. Like I said, incremental. Here today, on your doorstep tomorrow.

Yep, that's why I said "No change here." The days of the monthly Google Dance are long gone. WYSMNBWIG (What you see may not be what I get--and vice versa.) Add in the fact that Google tweaks its algorithms 500+ times per year, and it becomes obvious that a monthly-update thread is based more on tradition than on current reality.

Update:

My traffic has been decimated today across all sites

As the day goes on it's getting even weirder, some sites have come back to their average range, my biggest site's traffic is still way down at about 40% however my main Indian site has had an alltime record day with, so far, a 323% increase in PVs and Uniques v July average. That's more than double its previous high.

Mental, WTF is going on now?

EG - I agree. If you want to analyze changes to the SERPs these days, here on this board, you almost need threads for different localities and different niches. Updates could be rolling out based on locality (as the new Pigeon update recently in the US) or an update that impacts primarily eCommerce vs information. Having conversations about what impacted or didn't impact you or me is becoming almost irrelevant unless it's put into a context far more specific than just "something changed or didn't change in the SERPs today.

From the looks on my multiple domains/subdomains, this week is a new Panda sherif in town.
A bad one, also...

webcentric, i think to mention that traffic is down and some other WM agree to it will help webmasters see that it is Google changing the system again and not the a Problem with the site.

What a bizarre set of metrics for Wednesday. My Indian site ended up at 358% of average with 11.04% of this month's traffic on just one day.

My biggest site never recovered. Since the inception of AdSense it has always been #1 or #2 for earnings, yesterday it was #6.

So far today things look "normal" isnofar as I can tell, is something brewing?

We had an odd Wednesday here also, RedBar. Traffic was up slightly but conversions were off considerably (down).

Got message in WMT this morning, increased 404's, looks like google crawled a bucket full of old, non-existant urls on 7/29/2014. It's been a few months since google has done this, thought they were getting it under control but guess not...

'Traffic was up slightly but conversions were off considerably (down). '

Exactly the same for us yesterday, sorta like it was for us on Panda 4 to begin with.

Maybe the admin could set up an option in profiles (specific to this google thread) where our location and type of business could be posted automatically.

Here's an interesting stat just released by Google's AdSense team:

Mobile usage now accounts for 25% of all web usage across the globe - up 14% from a year ago.

People have been asking, now you know.

Do they say what they mean by mobile? Does that include tablets or is it just smartphones? Or does it mean Android/iOS? Just intrigued.

Something big (and ugly) is deploying right now.
Figures have no sense, Adsense is indescriptible low...

Nope, which is disappointing, I believe they usually mean tablets and phones however I know for a fact that AdSense does not recognise my Lumia Win8 phone as a phone therefore their figures may be lower than reality.
