Hello,
our website has 3 main keywords - A, B and C. We are currently working on a breadcrumbs navigation and we were wondering what would be the best to do when it comes to linking to the homepage. Should we use "Home" for the homepage link or can we have some pages use keyword A for the homepage, other pages keyword B and other keyword C. Is this a good idea for SEO?

Yes, use Home in breadcrumbs.

or can we have some pages use keyword A for the homepage, other pages keyword B and other keyword C.

This could be real confusing for your visitors.

Is this a good idea for SEO?

I doubt it. But what matters is this ... if it's bad (confusing) for visitors, it's bad for the site in the long term.
