GWT url parameters - URLs monitored

Many years ago one of my sites had a forum, powered by phpbb, that used the parameters ?t= and ?f= for topic and forum. The forum was short lived and deleted within a year. Today, while visiting the URL parameters page, I noticed that ?t and ?f have 168 and 158 'monitored urls' respectively.

The entire forum folder was deleted and every page was allowed to go 404 at the time and it is not linked from anywhere on the site. This was back in 2007-08, why on earth are these parameters still being monitored? They don't show up as 404 errors, they don't resolve and there is no forum code anywhere on this domain.

Could these be causing me any negative effects in search?

Negative effects? Unlikely.

Google NEVER forgets a URL. They will continie to check, perhaps only once or twice per year, that something that "went" is still gone.
