Facebook Likes vs Google+ followers for SEO benefits?

 7:41 pm on Jun 19, 2013 (gmt 0)

Obviously, we want to acquire as many facebook likes and google plus followers as possible. Keeping SEO as a priority, if I had a choice for an extra facebook like or google plus page follower, what would you choose?

Which type of visitor converts better?

I would go after that form of traffic and NOT make SEO a priority.

Facebook drives more traffic however has little effect if any on rankings. G- tied with authorship and a following does seem to effect rankings.

Yeah, but which kind of traffic brings in MORE MONEY to you? Facebook or G+ traffic?

If facebook users convert better on your site, that probably means they like your content more than G+ users, which means they will probably recommend your site to their friends and (eventually) lead to increased rankings (I am guessing).

In the meantime, you are also getting more people to your site who are more likely to get earn more money for you.

For me, traffic brings money. I do not sell or convert anything.

Google + is crap IMO. Only useful for googles own purposes. I'm stil not sure as to how much Facebook impacts eso but it can create nice traffic.
