WMT Message "Search Results Clicks Down" On A Holiday?

I got a message in my WMT account telling me that the search clicks are down for a top URL over Memorial Day Weekend.

I monitor about 10 similar niche sites that show the exact same traffic trend for that holiday weekend.

I usually gauge by Google traffic trends by comparing the real-time live search volume to a ratio with Bing-Yahoo combined during holidays.

I usually see 70% Google - 30% Bing-Yahoo. That's exact what I see.

Does Google not understand it's a major US Holiday?

Should I take action or just ignore it?

I rarely take action on something that happened only days ago. But that is me I prefer to wait and see what happens. If your traffic looks normal why would you bother?

I suspect what google doesn't understand is that it's a site whose traffic goes down significantly on holidays. Not all sites do. Some probably go up.

You wouldn't really want them to know, would you?

From time to time, I also receive these types of messages and ignore them. Something like "Big traffic change for top URL"
It's an automatic message that doesn't take holidays and other day-off dates into consideration.
