Fetch as Google Bot vs Fetch as Bing Bot

Just wondering has anyone ever had trouble with either bot fetching pages from your site? (using webmaster tools)

I'm asking this because it's strange that Bing bot fetch seems to experience random "Status: Unexpected Error" while I do the same fetches of the same pages using Google bot and it works just fine.

Has anyone ever experienced this? Bing bot fetch works at random times and gives an error at others, while Gbot always works fine. I have no idea why... We've not blocked the bots.

Let's get the first question out of the way: What do your site logs show for the "unexpected error" events? There are two potentially different things: what's actually happening, and what message you're getting.
