It's due to Panda. It's not implemented the same there due to a large part of it being language based, so you have Panda issues affecting you. May I ask, is sufc short for Sunderland FC?

Hi Pete - nope, Southend United!
Didn't think I was too badly affected by Panda - maybe I need to re-think things?

I remember the whole HK thing from just over a year ago and the conclusion was exactly that. I think that's why sometimes foreign sites show in our SERPS during Panda update too.

Google's UK SERPs are an unmitgated disaster at this very moment, I honestly did not believe they could get any worse but they have.
Thank heavens I do not rely on Google for my business!

Pete - just remembered, I actually highlighted the same issue last year )(shows how good my memory is!)
Think I am going to sit down and see what could be wrong with our site!

If you find the old topic, you'll find all 3 of us that have posted here so far in there...

This has been happening for some months (years ?) I had a friend in Hong Kong check it out.
What you see on .hk from the UK is not what you see if you access google.hk from hong kong.
Nope, I don't know why either.
