Google.com forcing redirect to Google.co.uk

 4:07 pm on Apr 15, 2013 (gmt 0)

Google.com forcing redirect to google.co.uk. !2 years after this was first reported in WebmasterWorld, Google are again redirecting.

The last thing I need right now is google.com redirecting me to google.co.uk everytime I try and look at the .com version!

There is a new interface in the UK for the google search page which I have just come across for the first time.

Among other rubbish (purely a personal judgement!), it redirects me to google.co.uk every time I try and access google.com

Totally unreasonably, it appears to give me no option to go to google.com as the old interface did.

What is the reason for this, do you think, and does anyone know if I missed the option to use google.com?
