If i am selling a product what will be better to keep my onpage stable or change it time to time.

I had seen that if my rankings get down - i use to rotate my meta tags and get a little bit improvement in rankings. Is this right to keep values changing.

I have seen a lot of sites mention Days / Months in their metas and they are performing well. e.g Cheap Blue Widget Price on Friday, March 2013

Meta will change according to days. Its harsh, but they are performing well.

Yesterday also I feel the same ..one of my keyword was on Page 3 then i rotate the meta tags both title and description and since then my rankings are on 2nd page.

But I am not sure of this in case of displaying the total number of products on a page or category or like some travel sites displaying the total number of room or hotels in their database which are changing daily.

updating your meta regularly is a good way to increase traffic and target new keywords that are relevant to that page, but the updates need to be relevant and hearty.

Map a 2-5 keywords to that page and constantly try to make the content of your meta tags better by trying out different combinations and uses of these terms.
