no, no no, it's not named after the Zebra, it's named after the Tegu! Google this wonderful black and white beast for a picture.
In other words, without an official announcement about a Zebra update, it's likely a hoax.
I think it's a zoo out there already, no need for more animals, thanks!

But, the major thing that i asked you to put light on is what strategy you are following to ensure you are not being harmed by any Google Tegu or whatever they may name it?

Welcome to WebmasterWorld Faizan_Khan
I've seen Zebra bandied about on certain other forum boards the past few months from posters who haven't a clue what they're writing about.
|I am much confused what to do and what to not? |
In the words of the UK Government in 1939, "Keep Calm And Carry On":
There's nothing you can do so don't fret about it, I continue doing what I always do...go to the AdSense forum and whinge about stuck stats:-)

Whether Zebra is a deliberate invention for kicks or idle speculation, I'm not sure. But there's no such thing as the Zebra update.
If there genuinely was an update, you can be sure there would be a lot of discussion about it here. But we only discuss real updates at WebmasterWorld ;)

And with regards to ANY google update - I've found its best to wait and watch - i've had sites drop before or during an update only to recover shortly after. Similarly, some sites get a spike before the update and settle back to where they were.
My point is, wait and see. I know it can be hard if your site has suddenly seemed to disappear but you have to do it.
My own site disappeared from Google during an update - completely gone - even a site: search didn't show it. But 24 hours later it was back. Just a glitch in the Matrix I guess :)

Work on other sources of traffic. Which is actually what you should be doing anyway.
(P.S. there are ALWAYS updates. There's more than 500 a year, so that means more than one a day. Some get more attention than others is all)
