Breadcrumbs - yes or no?

My website is growing very slowly. I add one page every week.
Now there are only 10 pages
www.example.com/blue/
www.example.com/contact/
www.example.com/forum/
www.example.com/links/
www.example.com/newsletter/
after / I have index.php
....
there is no a sub-directory like
www.example.com/blue/red/index.php
so probably breadcrumbs are not useful, but I would add them now.
What is your advice? Can I add them now without risking anything?

If your breadcrumbs would be nothing more than Home > Current Page, IMHO breadcrumbs are rather pointless. If, however, you add sub directories, then you should consider it.
