| False domain showing in Google

msg:4522390 | 5:21 pm on Nov 25, 2012 (gmt 0) | Hello, For the last ten years a website displayed correctly in Google as www.mysite.com (Note: example domain name only, to protect client's privacy). Then a few days ago the domain appeared in Google as: feedity.mysite.hop.clickbank.net/ The "feedity" domain is obviously a Clickbank affiliate link. And the affiliate link still redirects to www.mysite.com 1) How can Google erroneously list an affiliate link in place of an long-established domain name? 2) How can we fix this problem? All advice welcome, thank you. Dave.

msg:4522450 | 12:36 am on Nov 26, 2012 (gmt 0) | It seems like image hijacking and domain rank hijacking is on the increase right now, there was an eye opening article on how easily it can be done recently but I won't mention the author since you're better off not looking it up. I have no doubt Google knows about the problem and is working on a solution. Are you using site:example.com to look it up or some keyword?

msg:4522451 | 12:42 am on Nov 26, 2012 (gmt 0) | Don't know without checking deeper (i.e. whether the site is connected with the RSS feed provider), but they have over 30 such URLs indexed. Do a backlink check on all those URLs to see if they have inherited trust etc.
