| The total number of results in foxstart serps is very less. About 20 times less in my niche. |
| That's odd as in my SERP (one of them) in real google it has 2,030,000 and in Foxstart it has 38,000,000 In another of my SERPs the real google has 305,000,000 results and foxstart 53,700,000. I am still seeing good results in foxstart but I see little sign of them moving into mainstream.

| For people like me who don't have a twitter account, maybe someone can post what this says. Anyway, my two penguinized websites have been slowly but steadily gaining Google traffic for the last two weeks or so. Not sure of the reason.

Yes, let's not get Panda and Penguin tangled up. Here's our thread about the new Panda Update: [webmasterworld.com...] (it contains the full Tweet). However, any Penguin Update is still in development and not launched into prime time so far.

| Are you seeing it anywhere Tedster? I have been looking on lots of different google.tld's all over the world and I can't make any sense of any of it. The SERPs are all OVER the place. Host crowding Not sure if that's the right phrase or not) from one domain on one TLD and another on another. A site on page 1 on one TLD and page 5 on the next and top ten on the next few. It's like looking into the eyes of a mad man. My own site #1 for quite an obscure SERP in google.au and not in top 5 pages on .co.uk or .com

| Isn't it possible that Google is doing some live testing of a new version of Penguin for short periods of time and/or on a subset of data centers? Or does a new re-run have to be rolled out everywhere all at once? Anyway, I've seen a couple of things in my logs that cause me to suspect that some live testing is in progress. But of course there's no way to be sure.

Possibly. I am seeing odd traffic from all over too. I just hope it's a good sign and not a bad one. Too many bad ones this year :(

The linked Twitter message says to expect flux for the next few days. So that's probably what's going on. | Are you seeing it anywhere Tedster? |
| No - just some reported comments from Matt Cutts at a conference that the Google Penguin team was at work on a new version of Penguin that would apparently be significantly changed.

I'm definitely seeing good results with my new sites, but my old sites were affected so bad by the last EMD update that I can't tell a difference
