Internal Link Count Automatically Increased After Penguin Rockzer msg:4482137 9:17 am on Aug 6, 2012 (gmt 0) Hello, I have just noticed one thing in WMT, that my internal link from main to sub form has drastically increased almost 2.6M. Do you think this could be root cause of penguin effect to me ? I am unsure about the same can someone here help me out..? Even external from 2 domain are almost 90k? How I can delete those link ?

Those links should be under your control, right? If you remove them it may take Google several months to drop them from your Webmaster Tools report, but they WILL be dropped from the ranking calculations much quicker than that. Rockzer msg:4482465 6:35 am on Aug 7, 2012 (gmt 0)
Tedster, We never followed any unethical way to get our sites in GOOGle SERPs, but I am seriously trying to figure out what is the root casuse of effecting our site so badly.

Why do you think the cause is those internal links? Did you get a Webmaster Tools message? [

my internal link from main to sub form has drastically increased almost 2.6M. I don't understand what this means. Webmaster Tools doesn't create links, but only shows what it finds. You need to determine the origin of these links before you can solve the problem.
