today i noticed a drastic drop in many of my sites,... the traffic on all these sites went to ZERO

site:example.com count is also showing zero

what is this?

i have never ever seen anything like this before where millions of indexed pages have vanished overnight and traffic is reduced to rubbles

now this problem is occuring in 100s of sites which are hosted on different servers, so the problem is varied

what do u think, could be the problem? or is it just a temporary glitch?

@epmaniac, now that you learned a few but very useful things and since your sites are new, the best thing to do IMHO is to delete them, buy new domains, build your new sites according the rules, change your hosting provider and good luck.

Thanks for the replies.

I just noticed that my movie site is deindexed in all of search engines google, yahoo, bing.....

My host provider is facing DDos attacks... but getting sites deindexed all at once from all search engines is very weird

They all comply with DMCA takedown notifications. Simultanueous de-listing looks quite a lot like a smoking gun.

Dear Everyone,

I persisted on Google Webmaster Forum about my problem and then John Mu replied me:

Hi epmaniac

Using autogenerated content is against our Webmaster Guidelines. In general, our algorithms, and users!, prefer unique, compelling, and high-quality content, not content which is rewritten, spun, automatically translated or otherwise automatically created. For example, looking at link/ -- the content appears to be quite similar to link :

On the one hand, it mentions "The NCAA found Ohio State guilty of failure to monitor the program and of extra-benefit violations after it said eight players received more than $14,000 in cash or preferential treatment from the owner of a tattoo parlor in Columbus." on your site, it mentions "Ohio State, the NCAA's failure to exercise the effectiveness of programs and additional battle afterwards, in the tattoo shop owner in Columbus, eight players have more than $ 14,000 in cash or a check for preferential treatment." - which doesn't even make sense.

I'd strongly recommend reviewing your entire site to make sure that the content there is of the highest possible quality. If you find that there are issues that you're able to resolve, I'd recommend submitting a reconsideration request documenting the changes that you've made.

Cheers
John

I would go right back at reviewing User Posted content which is of poor quality (full of grammatical mistakes etc)

John Mu's reply is final word right? for the real reason why my site was delisted?

Thank you again everyone for helping me out here. You guys are all awesome!
