I'm surprised because I always assumed pagerank was taken from backlink profile and this site has only 1 link so far. I have done no external SEO or link building at all, just one PR2 link that I know of has cropped up. It's not an old domain and nothing shows up on wayback machine so fresh as far as I know. I find this very odd and strangely worrying, has anyone else out there experienced this and what was the outcome? BTW PR means nothing to me, I don't intend on selling links or anything like that and in my experience PR doesn't always relate to a good SERP presence. This just has me very curious, I've never come across this before.
