The numbers keep getting smaller but 1% = 10,000,000 queries.

Got a big bump yesterday and today. But not sure if it's temporary and will be the Panda rise before the crash.

I think it's best just to identify these Panda updates by their date. See [webmasterworld.com...] We gave up on version numbering here when Google got picky about what was a full version and a partial version.

I spoke with Matt, he said a couple updates ago, he would have named 3.0, so I'd say we are now at 3.2. If we had to name it. :)

I have seen some dramatic drops for some of the long tail keywords that I monitor. I have also seen some good movement upwards for a couple of the core keywords that I look at.

We've been hit by this latest Panda update on our profile pages only. Traffic down 40%-60% since Saturday.

Hmm, best Sunday for Google visitors in a couple months and we're not a shopping site. But it seems to me the week before Thanksgiving is always strong, maybe a lot of kids polishing off papers due before the holiday. Today will be a better indicator.

Most of my clients are B2B, so it's always hard to judge something that happens over a weekend. But nothing looks abnormal so far.

Just curious... If you were effected by a change that happened November 19th, are you seeing anything strange in Webmaster Tools? ie...timeout errors or unreachable pages?

We are finding Google is replacing our meta title with it's own preference, and as a result our rankings have dropped.

your rankings won't have dropped because G changed your titles - they have been doing this for sometime - what will / could have happened is less traffic if the change has made your title less attractive - this has happened to some of my carefully worded titles that now read crap!

@nmjudy Bunch of DNS errors on the 18th under Crawl Errors. I never saw any of those before, but can't see why they would be a positive:-)

@tigger Our rankings for those selected pages which have been affected have drop. E.g we were on page 1 position 2 for a search phrase now on page 2 at the bottom. Also, some search phrases that were on page 1, are no where to be seen

That wouldn't be a function of changing your titles, but you may well have been hit by Panda.

@Content_ed I was effected by the Panda update in April. Traffic tanked about 30% from April 17-July 17. I made no changes to the site. However, around mid July everything came back and then some. My site has about 10,000 pages in the index. Two days ago, I noticed a bunch of DNS timeout or network timeout errors in Webmaster Tools. These are dated Nov 13, Nov 16 and Nov 19. There are now about 458 effected urls though these pages display perfectly for me. Currently I'm not effected by decrease in traffic - but dreading a future shoe drop. Because of what happened in April, I'm just wondering if some the of believed "Panda" penalties are due to Googlebot issues.

| Been seeing that for some URLs on a site I manage (at Hostgator) since the 13th. Probably incidental - but odd.

Last time there was a matt cutts weather update the panda flux didn't occur until the following week -- did anyone else see that same behavior the last time? namely, do people believe that the flux hasn't started yet.

| Ahhh...so it's not just me. Yes, a bunch of them - "DNS issue" under "Unreachable" and "DNS lookup timeout" under "Timeout" and even a 500 error for good measure. And sure enough, traffic is down.

Just looking at Google traffic for my site, it shows up 40% from the past month (Google only). Was hit on the first Panda cycle in Feb. So this is the first time I've ever seen a pronounced uptick on Google-only searches that coincided with a Panda round. While there is still a lot of ground to recover, this gives me some hope that I am on the right track. I'm hearing more recoveries than slides for this one.
