Page Rank Zero - Is my site being penalized?

I see a PR0 on an entire site and I wonder if this has to do with some links coming from a blog we created.
----

We have created a company website and blog with many channels in drupal. Each channel is linking to one of our sites which are in another server and another url

example: there is the site A which is the company site and blog linking to sites B, C, D, E in another server.

Because they are in a different IP, is this considered link farm?

When the PR is whited out...0/10 - Not N/A - does it mean the site is being penalized?

Has there been any drop in your position in the results?

Has the PR dropped to zero or was it zero when first checked?
Is the site ranking well in the SERPS?

I have created niche sites that ranked in the top 3 for key terms despite low PR. I wouldn't even bother checking it unless I was trying to rank for an ultra competitive search arguement. What the punters see are the SERPS and that is what brings your visitors.
