Inner pages have higher PR than homepage

Msg#: 4352352 posted 7:02 am on Aug 17, 2011 (gmt 0)

My website different inner pages have 2 to 3 PR but homepage having only PR0. What could be the possible reason? Is PR not shared with homepage?

Whether PR is shared and how much depends on your internal links. But this situation sounds like one of three things:

1. Your internal pages have more direct backlinks than your home page
2. Your home page is showing a "toolbar penalty" because Google suspects you of selling links that pass PR
3. There's a bug in your toolbar data (and this happens a whole lot).

It is my blog and yes internal pages have more back links than homepage but PR is not being shared here with homepage. I am not selling links but all of the links going to my one website.

Google might has changed its policy for PR. I have one website having 10 sub domains. Each sub domain and its inner pages having PR from 1 to 3 but my homepage is having only PR2.
