I have more than 630,000 pages indexed currently in Google.co.uk, 50 backlinks, my site is about 8 months old but i still have 0 page rank. What could be the major cause and how can i get higher PR. Does PR really matter to bring me high rate of traffic as getting only 500 organic visits per day.

Page Rank has not been updated on the toolbar since January - and there's even some doubt about whether that was a complete update. So PR zero represents your home page PR when the site was much younger than 8 months.

Forget PR, it is irrelevant now. I have PR6 pages that may get 1 or 2 hits a day if I am lucky and some of my best ones are PR0.

Work on traffic, not PR.

Fahad, how many people is google bringing to you? That's important. And if you have 630,000 pages your PR can't be that bad, even if it's not seen. Google uses PR to determine how many links to index and how deep to crawl.
