Can YOU get Panda cooties by linking to a Panda Loser?

If outbound links define your site, should you link to Panda Losers? The stanford web credibility page [credibility.stanford.edu] recommends this:

...don't link to outside sites that are not credible. Your site becomes less credible by association.

I don't want my sites to be determined to be "less credible" so I'm considering removing all links to Panda Losers. Am I panicking?

And how do you know who the losers are? (other than the few listed in news reports)

There are tons more losers that you haven't been told about in those reports.

Yes, you're panicking.

Make your own editorial judgements about what's worth linking to, and don't let Panda ups and downs define credibility for you.
