| Long time for a new site to get into the index

msg:4248705 | 9:00 pm on Jan 3, 2011 (gmt 0) | Hi, I cant remember the exact date - it was around the start of December, but I was then able to launch a new site and it was indexed immediately - generally overnight. Since then sites are taking longer to be indexed, some of my december sites are still not indexed, I am creating currently creating a single page of unique content and waiting for it to be indexed before returning to flesh each site out. Is slow indexing a new trend or is it just me?

msg:4248717 | 9:40 pm on Jan 3, 2011 (gmt 0) | I also had a new site go up 12/01, which Googlebot got to on 12/03 and it too is not yet coming up much in the index, so I don't think your situation is unusual. If past patterns are any guide, G-bot will start coming back with more regularily very soon, and thereafter I expect to show up for at least the most obvious queries, with more activity as time passes and additional content is added. ........................

msg:4248758 | 11:47 pm on Jan 3, 2011 (gmt 0) | slow indexing is not new. if you want to encourage google to better index your website you should focus on getting high quality links and links from as many relevant sites as possible. also interlinking your countless pages of award winning content will help :)
