I realise that Google Instant probably will not result in more clicks on Google Ads, but I think that it certainly give more exposure to them. As I type my search query into Google Instant search box I'm bombarded with a constantly changing Google Ads column. I wonder if the adwords figures are being massaged as a result of these multiple 'Views'.
This was noted at the time Instant first launched, I believe. It takes a 3-second pause in typing for an ad impression to be counted. Yes, this has shuffled the stats a bit but caused less confusion than some expected.
