Can I have different description or meta tag for my different posts in blogger (blogspot)? When I google my blog in the internet, I can see many pages from my blog but with the same description below it. Will it hurt my position in SERP's? If then can I have different desciption for it?

Google tells us that the meta description is not used for ranking purposes. They also create snippets from other sources in many cases. You might be better off with NO meta description at all than with a repeated, duplicate one.

But the bottom line is what you've discovered. Free platforms like Blogger come with limitations that may handicap you if you have serious business intentions.

but i've seen many blogspot sites that are ranked #1 for quite competitive keywords in the search engine. How do i get such authority from google or from any search engine. My keyword is in #12 position and the top site that i want to win for that keyword is a ".org" site. Of course a ".org" site is more authoritative than a blogspot site like mine. But I've seen many such sites appearing #1 for certain keywords. I've heard that meta description has no value in the G algo. will repetitive meta description hurt my blog?

It is not the tld (org, etc.) that matters. But it is the limitations of using a free platform that would prevent you from achieving what you want.

People think twice before they link to a blogspot blog, than in linking to a normal domain. Generally, spam emanate from free platforms and this is one of the several reasons that prevent them from linking to them.

Having said that, I still feel that google does reserve a spot to blogspot blog and if you are lucky you could latch on to it. However, this is my own theory and it doesn't have any solid proof or backing.

I've heard that meta description has no value in the G algo.

That is the general belief and theory.

will repetitive meta description hurt my blog?

it may not hurt you, but it may not help your click through rates. It is better not to have any meta description tag than having identical ones.
