Google Testing Bing Link Layout in Korea

After looking at the 3 natural search results thread i did a search on google.co.kr for Seoul

i was surprised to see a bing like layout on page 1 and regular serps on page 2..

i cant translate the page but i think its self explanatory

You're referring to the right hand column, correct? Instead of Adwords we see a column of links for "seoul weather", "seoul subway map" and so on. And then a second group below that, but in Korean.

Serps were broken up into categories

News, Video, Images, travel information and translations. Its very different from the layout here and very similar to the beta instant search.

Google stole its Images Results idea from Bing, so it's not surprising they're trying to take another one of Bing's ideas. But it's causing brand dilution. Whenever a company can't construct its own ideas it erodes its reputation. I thought Google was supposed to be the Idea Lab full of computer geniuses. The Leader, not the Follower. The Head, not the Tail.
