I am noticing a Video Sitemap option under Labs in Google Webmaster Tool.
It is displays all the sitemap files with information on error if found.

This should be a good thing - but on my accounts right now the video sitemap data is showing "No information found." Since there definitely is information, this is something like a Coming Soon sign, I guess.

Yes, it should be helpful if one would have the video sitemaps submitted. Currently it is under "Labs" section below "Site Performance".
