There's a wonderful "Happy 4th of July and Happy Birthday Rube Goldberg!" animated logo on Google today, which captures both the spirit and the relentless logic of a Rube Goldberg machine. If you either click on the logo or search too quickly, you'll miss the animation. You need to wait about 4 or 5 seconds for the action to start.

Just the standard logo for me, looks like G have realised that 4 July is a purely local matter as far as the internet is concerned.
