|Exact Match in quotes returns higher numbers than Broad Match|
| 2:43 pm on Feb 17, 2010 (gmt 0)|
If I search on a particular "kw1+kw2+kw3" ... I am seeing about 1.3 million results, if I search kw1 kw3 kw3, I'm seeing about 715,000 results.
I'm noticeing this on a lot of 3 and 4 word phrases, but not all, When doing an exact match search are they now throwing in all the broad match results in their total number of results returned?
Is there a thread about this? I've not seen it referenced anywhere.

Yes, I'm seeing the same thing -- when I bother to look at that number at all. It's a pretty "rough estimate" number anyway, really only useful as an "order of magnitude" check, IMO.
