Google Having Issues? Gmail, Blogspot, Search All Intermittent

I was just wondering if I'm the only person in the world having problems accessing the various services of Google. Gmail has been hit/miss for the past hour. Google search seems somewhat more reliable, but at times I haven't been able to reach it. And blogspot seems to be totally unreachable.

Google...what's going on?

No problems here. And I've been in two locations, 200 miles apart during the day.

If the time of the first post is the original time posted, then no issues to speak of here either, but both BillyS and I had huge issues the day before which we reported about here in this thread:

From time to time I will have web issues that will affect only certain sites for a chunk of time, but the sites are not down, and surfers in a different location won't see the problem. What's down, as I understand it, is a small section of the internet.

I read an article that described the phenomenon and wish I had the reference now; this is something that's getting more and more common and is not yet frequently discussed.

Fascinating...
