Each incoming link that is non-reciprocal will count as a vote for your website, whether relevent or not.
Yes when getting links, make sure you mix and match the anchor text or else you may get a penalty as the linking will look unnatural.

and the links should be going to the homepage and links within your site too, to look natural to the search engines.
|Another question: is dangerous having only related backlinks? |
Not sure what you mean here?

I mean: to have only backlinks from golf websites.

Variety in a backlink profile usually refers to a broad mixture of different types of links combined with different anchor texts. Different types of links could include links from directories, social network sites, blogs, articles, regular websites, etc. Some experts also think it should include a mixture of both dofollow and nofollow links.
The basic idea is that you want a link profile that looks natural. An example of an un-natural profile would be nothing but directory links all with exactly the same anchor text. But a natural profile would include a mixture of many different types and anchor texts.

I understood that variety in anchor text is good.
Now I want to focus about the websites where our backlinks are placed.
I only search for related websites, but my doubt, here, in this thread, is: do I have to get backlinks only from related websites or do I have to get any kind of website?
This is a point I did not understand yet.

yes, best to get links from related websites.
or from a page on another website that has some relevance or relationship with your overall website theme.
i tend to think that the search engines would discount links coming to you from unrelated sites say home furnishing or boating supplies etc.
