| Image Search results now offer quick Safe Search toggling

When you're on a search results page in Google Image Search, there's a report of your current Safe Search setting right below the search box - with a drop down for making quick changes. This is a thoughtful and handy interface, for my purposes at least. It's also new to me - anyone notice it before?

What I have noticed that if while searching on Google Images we click on web results on top left the quick Safe search option continues in the normal search as well.

i started seeing this a few days ago. It's certainly more user friendly but now also defaults to strict safe search which seems unnecessary...
