My 3 month old site finally starting getting some google love from google image search as of this past weekend. Was just wondering if anyone has seen this as a precursor to an increase in regular search traffic? (non images)
Also the tiny bit of non-image serach traffic has ticked up a little at the same time but not near as much as images.
As far as I know, Image Search is a relatively separated out function at Google. I've never seen image traffic as an early sign that organic text search rankings are "on the way". Maybe others have?
after some additional analysis, organic text search traffic DID start increasing at the same time as the images (% wise but not volume). Not sure if this is of meaning, but this all happened at approx 90 days of the site going live.
