Moving nationality of server - any tips on a clean move? edd1 msg:3811672 12:04 am on Dec 20, 2008 (gmt 0) We have a site which is global in its nature and hosted on a US server.
We are considering moving it onto a New Zealand server (where we are geographically based) and rebranding it as a local site.
Any ideas on the least disruptive way to make this move if we do go ahead?

Google's Matt Cutts wrote a blog article back in 2005 that has lots of good advice. In fact, we've got a link to this post in the Hot Topics area [ webmasterworld.com], which is always pinned to the top of this forum's index page.
